Job summary

Quincy Compressor is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers in the Mobile, AL area. You will troubleshoot, repair, and install compressor systems, working closely with the Service Manager to ensure safe, high-quality service and an outstanding customer experience.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of compressor technician experience, are able to operate with minimal supervision, and will participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. A company vehicle and tools are provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• 3–5 years of experience as a compressor technician.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
• Customer-focused with ownership of service outcomes.
• Ability to supply basic required tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, auto drains, and related equipment.
• Pressure wash and clean customer equipment pads when needed.
• Communicate options for repairs or upgrades to customers and Service Manager.
• Complete all work orders, startup forms, warranty forms, and parts slips.
• Train and assist other Service Technicians and promote safety procedures.

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team on our journey for a better tomorrow.

Your role

To best serve our customers, we are increasing our presence within our field service area. This supports our mission in providing safe and high-quality service that is performed with great efficiency to our customers. As a Field Service Technician, you are an important part of this mission. You will be close to your customers and service our products to provide a great customer experience. You will report to the Service Manager.

• You will troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers
• You will pressure wash (where possible) and effectively clean the customer’s entire equipment pad including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc.
• You will communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding all services performed and clearly present all options for any required repairs, upgrades, or other customer needs
• You will completely fill out all work orders, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return slips
• You will train and assist other Service Technicians
• You will promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal and protective equipment
• You will set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed
• You will participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the Service Manager

To succeed, you need

• You have a valid driver's license.
• You have 3-5 years of experience as a compressor technician.
• You have expertise in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
• You are customer-focused and take ownership of meeting the customer's needs.
• You can supply all basic required tools
