Air General Incorporated at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) seeks a seasoned Station Manager to lead our cargo handling operation. You will oversee documentation, data entry, warehouse handling, and frontline customer service, developing staff and coordinating with airport officials.

You will ensure TSA compliance, safety standards, and timely service, while driving performance targets and continuous improvements across the operation.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum domestic and/or international air cargo experience preferred.
• High school degree or GED required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Must obtain a valid airport SIDA badge.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid and unexpired US Driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Candidates must possess some intermediate cargo handling knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Organize, coordinate, and control all contract handling services for the customer, safely and efficiently.
• Implement procedures to meet customer targets and service requirements.
• Ensure handling services do not affect the safe and punctual operation of the customer’s flight services.
• Hire and develop a highly motivated workforce.
• Ensure training standards are achieved or exceeded.
• Ensure all customer targets are achieved or exceeded.
• Ensure safety standards are adhered to.
• Comply with TSA directives and security procedures.
• Initiate directives to enhance service levels for the customer.
• Regularly meet with managers to review performance and plan improvements.
• Take disciplinary action for safety, security, or service breaches.
• Investigate incidents or service complaints and provide written reports.
• Evaluate recommendations for service improvements and implement them.
• Develop routines for handling services planning and feedback with customers.
