Job summary

GAT Airline Ground Support in Pensacola, FL is seeking dynamic individuals to join its team of aviation professionals. The role organizes warehouse and storage facilities, arranges handling equipment, and loads/unloads air cargo while complying with safety standards and SOPs.

Key duties include loading/unloading cargo on aircraft and trucks, palletizing cargo, completing airline documents, and ensuring proper handling of equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to read and complete cargo documents.
• Must pass FBI background check and drug screen.
• Able to work variable shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Must have valid driver's license and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload air cargo on/off aircraft, carts, container, and trucks.
• Transport between terminals and aircraft; ramp transfers of cargo.
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed.
• Read and legibly complete cargo documents and forms necessary to airline requirements.
• Assure proper handling and operation of related equipment.
• Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations.
• Comply with GAT Airline Ground Support's SOPs and Policies.
• Pick-up and delivery of cargo as indicated.
• All other duties as assigned.
