Job summary

GAT Airline Ground Support in Greer, SC, is seeking dependable personnel for cargo handling and ramp support roles. Responsibilities include organizing storage, loading and unloading air cargo, and ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to read and write in English, valid driver's license, and 18+ years old. Prior ramp or airline experience is advantageous; training and certifications will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to navigate electronic devices and operate basic office equipment.
• Knowledge of GSE maintenance basics is preferred.
• Experience and understanding of commercial issues in aviation is advantageous.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English; basic computer literacy expected.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload air cargo on and off aircraft, carts, containers, and trucks.
• Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft, including ramp transfers and documentation.
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed.
• Read and complete cargo documents per airline requirements.
• Ensure proper handling and operation of related equipment and comply with SOPs.
• Follow Dangerous Goods regulations and company policies.
• Carry out pickup/delivery of cargo as indicated.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
