Avflight Corporation is seeking an Air Cargo Supervisor to oversee daily cargo operations at DTW Metro Airport and Avflight offices in Ann Arbor. You will lead staff, ensure safe handling, manage documentation, and drive on-time performance while maintaining high service standards.

The role demands strong leadership, regulatory know-how, and the ability to develop training materials for cargo handling, documentation, and dangerous goods processes. On-site, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role in air cargo/logistics.
• Strong knowledge of air cargo regulations and safety.
• Excellent leadership and team management.
• Proficiency with cargo management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of air cargo staff, ensuring training, performance monitoring, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Oversee loading, unloading, and storage of cargo to ensure efficient operations and minimize damage.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate tracking/documentation of shipments.
• Ensure compliance with internal and airline procedures.
