Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC in Detroit seeks a Duty Manager to oversee daily airport operations, ensure safety, efficiency, and cost effectiveness across the station, and coordinate team activities.

The role includes supervising staff, coaching and mentoring, assisting with recruitment, scheduling, and performance monitoring, with emphasis on a proactive safety culture and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possesses a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport/state regulations.
• Supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates team activities related to the operation.
• Coaches, counsels and mentors employees, including issuing disciplinary action as required.
• Assists in recruiting, administrative, payroll, employee scheduling, and general administrative duties.
• Monitors staffing and overtime use and operational and financial performance of the assigned station.
• Promotes team-building initiatives to develop and motivate team members.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards.
