Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ramp and SIDA training may be required.
• Preferred: 1+ year of Cargo Agent experience.

Responsibilities

• Convey shipping instructions to the customer services counter.
• Retrieve import documents and deliver export documents to and from aircraft.
• Accept cargo in accordance with TSA, FAA, Government and Air Carrier rules.
• Accept dangerous goods following FAA and IATA regulations.
• Release imported freight after CBP clearances and authorizations.
• Collect air freight charges.
• Handle customer calls professionally.
• Enter data into the company system and prepare freight transfer manifests.
• Follow safety protocols and complete required training.
