Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of ocean import experience, familiarity with freight forwarding, and knowledge of Incoterms. This hybrid Atlanta position collaborates with multiple internal teams to optimize costs and performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ocean import experience.
• Knowledge of ocean, air, and truck transportation.
• Experience coordinating international shipments and documentation.
• Understanding of Incoterms and import processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ocean and air import shipments from booking through delivery.
• Manage shipment tracking, documentation, and customer communication.
• Work with carriers, freight forwarders, drayage providers, and internal teams.
• Prepare and process import documentation, bills of lading, and shipment records.
• Resolve shipment exceptions and equipment issues.
• Audit freight invoices and support transportation cost management.
• Maintain SOPs and carrier performance metrics.
• Partner with logistics, customer service, production, and shipping teams.
