Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Air Ambulance Pilot to deliver rapid, life-saving transport for patients, while ensuring crew and patient safety during every flight. You will apply advanced aviation skills and medical mission protocols in a high-stakes environment.

Based at St. George Regional Hospital in Utah, you’ll plan flights considering weather, weight and balance, and fuel needs, coordinating with medical staff and dispatch for seamless missions.

Qualifications

• 2,000 hours total flight time in helicopter or CAMTS equivalency.
• 100 hours cross-country flight, 25 hours at night.
• 75 actual or simulated instrument hours and 100 hours unaided night flight.
• Pass a 135.293 check ride within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates aircraft in compliance with FAA regs, policies, and mission protocols.
• Plans and executes flights considering weather, weight and balance, and fuel.
• Collaborates with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for missions.
• Responds promptly to emergency callouts and stays ready at all times.
• Maintains flight and maintenance logs per company and FAA requirements.
• Represents the company professionally with patients, families, and the public.
