Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an experienced Air Ambulance Pilot to deliver rapid, life-saving transportation for patients in need. You will operate aircraft under FAA regulations, coordinate with medical teams, and ensure safe mission execution in challenging environments.

Based at Page Air Base, the role requires readiness for emergency callouts and collaboration with dispatch, ground crew and medical staff to ensure seamless missions with a focus on safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• FAA Certifications required (Commercial with IFR or ATP)
• FAA Second Class Medical or higher
• 2,500 total flight hours required
• 100 cross-country hours (25 at night)
• 75 instrument hours (actual or simulated)
• 100 hours of unaided night flight
• Pass 135.293 check ride within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Operates aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, policies, and mission protocols.
• Plans and executes flights considering weather, weight and balance, and fuel.
• Collaborates with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for seamless mission execution.
• Responds to emergency callouts and maintains readiness.
• Maintains flight and maintenance logs as required by company and FAA.
• Represents the company professionally with patients, families, and the public.
