Intermountain Health is seeking an Air Ambulance Pilot to deliver rapid, life-saving patient transport from the Greybull base in Wyoming. You will blend advanced aviation skills with medical teamwork to support critical emergency services for the community.

Operate under FAA rules, plan flights, log activities, and respond to calls with readiness. This full-time role offers a structured schedule and the chance to impact patient outcomes across Intermountain Health.

Qualifications

  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating or ATP with appropriate ratings.
  • Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher).
  • 2000 hours total flight time in a helicopter or CAMTS Equivalency.
  • 100 hours cross-country, 25 at night; 75 instrument hours; 100 unaided night hours.
  • Pass a 135.293 check ride within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Operates aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations and mission protocols.
  • Plans and executes flights considering weather, weight, and fuel.
  • Coordinates with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for mission success.
  • Responds to emergency callouts and maintains readiness at all times.
  • Keeps flight and maintenance logs per company and FAA requirements.
  • Represents the company professionally to patients, families, and the public.
