Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Air Ambulance Pilot to deliver rapid, life-saving transport while upholding FAA regulations and safety protocols. You’ll operate with a high level of professionalism, ensuring safe, timely missions for patients and medical teams.

Based at Burlington, Hartford, or Neenah air bases in Wisconsin, this role requires flight planning, teamwork, and meticulous logkeeping.

Qualifications

  • FAA commercial helicopter pilot license with instrument rating or ATP.
  • Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate or higher.
  • Total flight time 2,500 hours in helicopter with 100 cross-country hours, 25 night hours, 75 instrument hours.

Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft in compliance with FAA regs, company policies, and mission protocols.
  • Plan and execute flights considering weather, weight and balance, and fuel.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for missions.
  • Respond to emergency callouts and remain ready at all times.
  • Maintain flight and maintenance logs per FAA requirements.
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with patients and families.
