Job summary
Insight Global is seeking an AIOps Engineer for a federal technology client in Arlington, VA, focused on modernizing IT operations with AI. You will join a new team bringing AI capabilities to enterprise operations, enhancing monitoring, automation, and incident response through AI/ML concepts, observability tooling, and ITOM integration.
The role requires strong IT operations background, hands-on cloud experience, and proficiency with Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, and ServiceNow ITOM.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of infrastructure/cloud engineering experience (or commensurate experience).
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in IT operations and cloud environments.
- Proficiency with AIOps platforms for automating IT operations.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and their applications in IT.
- Experience using observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, and New Relic.
- Expertise in ServiceNow ITOM for IT operations management.
- Advanced Python scripting skills for automation and data processing.
- Proven ability in data analytics to drive operational insights.
- Solid knowledge of cloud operations and best practices and automation frameworks - AI/ML certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deploy AI-driven monitoring and operational intelligence solutions.
- Develop automation for incident detection, response, and remediation.
- Analyze operational data to identify patterns and predict failures.
- Implement event correlation and anomaly detection.
- Integrate AI tools with ITSM platforms.
- Reduce alert fatigue through intelligent automation.
- Build dashboards and operational analytics.
- Improve system availability and performance through AI insights.
