Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an AIOps Engineer for a federal technology client in Arlington, VA, focused on modernizing IT operations with AI. You will join a new team bringing AI capabilities to enterprise operations, enhancing monitoring, automation, and incident response through AI/ML concepts, observability tooling, and ITOM integration.

The role requires strong IT operations background, hands-on cloud experience, and proficiency with Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, and ServiceNow ITOM.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of infrastructure/cloud engineering experience (or commensurate experience).
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in IT operations and cloud environments.
• Proficiency with AIOps platforms for automating IT operations.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and their applications in IT.
• Experience using observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, and New Relic.
• Expertise in ServiceNow ITOM for IT operations management.
• Advanced Python scripting skills for automation and data processing.
• Proven ability in data analytics to drive operational insights.
• Solid knowledge of cloud operations and best practices and automation frameworks - AI/ML certifications preferred.

Insight Global is seeking an AIOps Engineer for a federal technology client supporting a critical initiative focused on modernizing IT operations through Artificial Intelligence. This individual will join a newly established team tasked with introducing AI capabilities into enterprise operations and helping accelerate project delivery through automation and operational intelligence. The ideal candidate comes from a strong IT Operations background and understands how systems perform in real-world production environments. They will leverage AIOps, observability tooling, ServiceNow ITOM, cloud technologies, and AI/ML concepts to improve monitoring, automate incident response, establish proactive operational insights, and drive measurable improvements in system performance. This role offers the opportunity to help shape a growing AI-driven operations capability while working closely with federal stakeholders in a highly visible environment.
