Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks an IT Operations Automation & AIOps Engineer to design, build, and operate AI-first IT workflows across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will translate manual tasks into automated, auditable processes and enable autonomous agentic operations with human oversight.

You will implement IaC (Ansible/Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted coding tools while ensuring security baselines and policy compliance across AWS/Azure/GCP. U.S. citizenship and clearance capability required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 5+ years in IT operations, systems administration, or related field.
• 3+ years writing automation with Ansible and/or Terraform.
• Scripting in Python and/or Bash; PowerShell a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD and Git-based version control.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools in production IT ops.
• Experience with cloud environments (multi-cloud a plus).
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate automation and AI-first IT workflows.
• Develop IaC templates and Terraform playbooks for cloud and on‑prem resources.
• Operate the AIOps platform and define agentic automation boundaries.
• Integrate automation with ITSM and ticketing workflows.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and AI-assisted SDLC tooling.
• Monitor, audit, and improve automation KPIs and security baselines.
