Job summary

Sarela Technology Solutions seeks a seasoned AIOps Platform Lead to drive unified telemetry pipelines and incident remediation across DoD networks. You will partner with Network Engineering, ServiceNow and SolarWinds teams to deliver real-time observability and secure data flows.

You will architect closed-loop workflows, deploy ML models with Splunk MLTK, and ensure compliance with STIGs for IL5/IL6 environments while guiding mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of hire.
• Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, or SSCP) required.
• US Citizenship is required.
• 7+ years with Splunk Enterprise including design, clustering, SPL.
• 3+ years implementing AIOps workflows and ITSM integrations (ServiceNow).
• Machine learning experience with Splunk MLTK.
• Proven scripting abilities (Python) for automation.
• Leadership of technical working groups in DoD environments.
• Operational DoD/NOC/SOC experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead AIOps platform initiative and liaison with Network Engineering, ServiceNow, and SolarWinds teams.
• Architect closed-loop remediation workflows integrating Splunk ITSI with ServiceNow modules.
• Maintain Splunk AIOps across unclassified and classified enclaves for real-time situational awareness.
• Integrate SolarWinds telemetry with logs for holistic enterprise health view.
• Develop ML models with Splunk MLTK to detect anomalies and threats.
• Create secure data ingestion pipelines from cross-domain solutions and edge devices.
• Use ITSI to reduce noise and prioritize high-impact alerts.
• Collaborate with CSSP to align AIOps outputs with defensive cyber operations.
• Ensure observability tools comply with DoW STIGs and IL5/IL6; document architecture and traceability.
• Maintain awareness of DoD, federal and intelligence mission system needs.
