Job summary

Holland & Knight is seeking an AI Legal Engineer to design, build, and operationalize AI-enabled workflows for its practice groups. The role partners with attorneys and knowledge management to deliver reliable, attorney-facing AI solutions and to drive sustained adoption across the firm.

Based in Tampa or other firm offices, the position coordinates with the AI Product and Adoption teams to ensure governance, training, and scalable playbooks while delivering measurable daily legal value.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent legal background.
• 3–6+ years in legal, legal technology, knowledge management, or a similar professional-services setting.
• Experience designing or implementing AI, automation, or workflow solutions in a legal context.
• Experience delivering training, enablement, or onboarding programs to attorneys or client-facing audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy AI legal workflows and skills across firm-approved AI tools.
• Partner with attorneys and knowledge management to map use cases and translate needs into AI solutions.
• Develop and maintain retrieval pipelines, templates, and reusable workflow components with clear documentation.
• Build evaluation frameworks to measure workflow quality, monitor performance, and iterate based on feedback.
• Provide enablement and change management: training sessions, coaching, and playbooks to support adoption.
