The University of Central Florida IT Department is seeking an AI Automation Designer I. You will embed with administrative teams to design, implement, and promote AI-enabled process automations and workflows, delivering scalable solutions across campus.

Joining the AI Center of Excellence, you will build reusable playbooks, agent templates, and modules while ensuring governance, privacy, and security. The role emphasizes collaboration across multi-functional teams to realize measurable business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1+ year experience with low-code RPA and Python.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies and Azure OpenAI/AML.
• Ability to design reusable AI automation patterns.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify and design high-impact automation opportunities delivering business value.
• Design, develop, and deploy automation using Power Automate, Python, and Azure AI.
• Create reusable playbooks, agent templates, and modules for replication.
• Support deployment, testing, and rollout of AI workflows with QA and logging.
• Ensure governance, privacy, and security in all AI deployments.
