Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with LLMs and AI tools used daily in a newsroom context.
• Experience in a news organization, understanding editorial workflows and newsroom standards.
• Ability to connect APIs, work with databases, and build lightweight integrations without being a software engineer.
• Experience writing production prompts and building agent workflows (LangChain, custom GPTs, Claude projects).
• Strong communication and collaboration across diverse teams; bias toward action.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in journalism, product, operations, data, or a technical AI-solution role.
• Willingness to adapt and stay audience-focused in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build AI workflows and integrations connecting internal systems to LLMs.
• Build and maintain agent-based workflows to automate processes.
• Write production-quality prompts for editorial, sales, HR, finance, and operations.
• Stand up integrations between AI platforms and existing tools (Arc XP, WordPress, CRMs).
• Support Enablement Lead with training and onboarding of teams on AI tools.
• Create and maintain documentation for deployed AI workflows and tools.
• Provide hands-on technical support to teams adopting AI workflows.
