829 Studios in Boston is seeking an AI Innovation Engineer to own the AI stack and craft agentic workflows that drive adoption across the organization. You will build production AI assets, integrate tools, and partner with leadership to scale AI-enabled services for clients and internal teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, cross-functional influence, and a scrappy, execution-focused mindset, reporting to the President/COO.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience; at least 2 years in marketing/agency space.
Hands-on Python and knowledge of at least one of TypeScript, SQL, or scripting environments.
Strong ability to map business workflows and identify AI leverage.
Demonstrated track record of shipping production AI work that earned adoption.
Strong communication and ability to translate technical concepts to executives.
Experience influencing without authority.

Responsibilities

Architect and build proprietary AI agents and automation workflows.
Develop and manage a playbook for discovery to adoption.
Lead pilots across disciplines to test approaches and inform production workflows.
Develop and maintain integrations between AI tools and core business systems.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and senior leaders to ensure value and adoption.
