Job summary

Oxipital AI, Inc. seeks an Industrial Automation Applications Engineer to translate customer needs into technical requirements and drive PoC deployments for AI-enabled vision inspection and robotic platforms.

You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering, lead demos, prepare ROI analyses, and travel to client sites up to 50% to ensure successful implementations across global manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience with machine vision or robotics.
• Strong understanding of image processing and machine learning.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple technical projects at once.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience creating demos or PoC systems in an industrial environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge and understanding of Robotics, PLC, or Controls Engineering
• Experience with CRM; Salesforce preferred
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements in Industrial environment up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between customers, sales, and engineering—ensuring customer requirements are accurately captured and reflected in technical solution development.
• Lead technical presentations, demos, and PoC projects for potential customers.
• Travel to customer sites to support demos, training, technical discussions, installs, post-install support.
• Manage large-scale capital equipment and robotics projects from concept through delivery, developing detailed project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project execution, facilitating clear communication between customers, integrators, and internal leadership.
• Provide transparent project progress updates and milestone reporting to senior management, identifying risks or delays early and proposing actionable solutions.
• Act as the local project manager, developing standardized workflows, documentation practices, and project governance models.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to provide technical details for marketing materials—case studies, notes, and demo content.
