eBay is seeking an AI Transformation Lead for Payments Compliance to translate strategy into actionable AI implementations across Governance, Sanctions, KYC, and regulatory filings. You will partner with subject matter experts and technology teams to identify high-value opportunities and drive AI-enabled processes from concept through implementation.

Competenze

5–7 years of relevant experience in compliance, financial services, technology transformation, or process improvement, including AI/application of automation.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience in financial crimes, payments compliance, or regulatory rigor with subject matter expertise in areas like AML/investigations, sanctions, KYC, regulatory reporting, governance, testing, or supervising.
Solid understanding of generative AI, LLMs, agentic AI, prompt engineering, workflow automation, and AI-enabled transformation.
Hands-on with AI tools; experience building GPTs, Gems, AI workflows, prototypes, or Claude Code is a plus.
Attention to detail and ability to translate complex compliance workflows into clear requirements.
Ability to build data-informed business cases and assess AI initiative value, feasibility, and impact.
Capability to work across Compliance, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and other teams without direct authority.
Strong judgement and regulatory, governance, and human oversight considerations for AI in compliance.
Intellectual curiosity and ability to rapidly gain knowledge across Payments Compliance fields.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Partner with Governance, Sanctions, KYC, Investigations, and Regulatory Reporting SMEs to identify AI-enabled improvements.
Reimagine processes using AI rather than simple automation of current workflows.
Translate compliance problems into well-defined AI use cases, requirements, and workflows.
Own and maintain the Payments Compliance AI strategic plan, use-case intake, prioritization, dependencies, and outcomes.
Develop business cases for AI initiatives by assessing effort, efficiency gains, capacity savings, and risk reduction.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Responsible AI, and other teams through the development lifecycle.
Develop hands-on prototypes and proof-of-concepts using GPTs, Gems, Claude Code, and other tools.
Participate in design, testing, validation, and iteration to ensure AI-enabled solutions address compliance needs.
Engage with Responsible AI, Legal, Privacy for oversight, explainability, and regulatory defensibility.
Stay current on AI innovations and evaluate responsible applications in Payments Compliance.
