Job summary

Lilly Australia seeks a senior analytics leader to own the AI agenda across the commercial business. You will design strategies, build tools in Python and SQL, and lead sales, marketing and analytics teams to adopt AI in daily work.

You will establish governance, develop an AI-ready data foundation, train field teams, and partner with compliance. Occasional travel may be required. A university degree and 8+ years in analytics or AI enablement are expected.

Qualifications

• Essential Demonstrated success deploying large-scale AI solutions within a large multinational organisation, including adoption and change management.
• Hands-on capability in Python, SQL and prompt engineering with enterprise language models.
• Strong business intelligence and modern data platform skills.
• Experience training and coaching users at all levels, from field representatives to senior leaders.
• A university degree.

Responsibilities

• AI strategy and roadmap: Develop a prioritised roadmap of AI solutions for the commercial business and track adoption impact.
• Solution development: Build and test AI tools using Python, SQL and prompt engineering; establish an AI-ready data foundation.
• Governance and risk management: Create local AI governance for commercial use cases and maintain data quality controls.
• Adoption and capability building: Design training for field sales, marketing and analytics teams and drive change management.
