HP IQ is seeking an intern to design and build AI-powered tools that improve developer productivity and quality. You will work directly with our hiring manager and team to deploy agents using pre-trained models to solve real problems for developers and QA engineers.

Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed CS/Engineering degree.
Strong fundamentals in coding and ability to learn new languages.
Familiarity with AI tools (Claude/OpenAI) or model usage is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and iterate on AI-powered tools to boost engineering productivity.
Develop intelligent systems to automate software development, testing, debugging, or QA.
Prototype and evaluate large language model (LLM) approaches for engineering problems.
Collaborate with engineers, PMs, designers, and other teams to deliver solutions.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and problem-solving sessions.
Analyze challenges and propose ideas to improve products and workflows.
