HP IQ, HP’s AI innovation lab, is seeking a Product Designer to craft simple, delightful AI-powered digital experiences. You’ll collaborate across software, hardware, and design to shape new interfaces and interactions that feel like natural extensions of human experience.

The role emphasizes curiosity, craft, and a willingness to iterate until designs feel right. You’ll contribute across the design process, develop your craft with experienced teams, and help shape the product roadmap with

Qualifications

• Degree in design or a related field.
• Experience designing digital experiences using industry-standard tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• Strong foundation in visual design including layout, typography, hierarchy, color and composition.
• Understanding of interaction design and user-centered design principles.
• Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to articulate design decisions.
• Curiosity, creativity, and a passion for technology and emerging digital experiences.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, design thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of AI-powered digital experiences, interfaces, and features.
• Create polished user interfaces using tools such as Figma and Origami Studio.
• Translate ideas and user needs into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
• Develop, prototype, and present design concepts to cross-functional partners.
• Participate in design reviews and provide thoughtful feedback to others.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and design partners to ship experiences from discovery to implementation.
• Experiment with emerging AI technologies to explore new design approaches.
