Job summary

JPMorganChase in Palo Alto (and multiple U.S. locations) seeks an AI Tech Risk & Controls Lead to mitigate technology risk, uphold operational excellence, and drive risk-informed innovation across Core Foundational Platforms.

You will identify and remediate regulatory and security gaps, provide SME guidance to product owners, and partner with control owners and regulators to report on technology risk posture and ensure auditability.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or related field.
Experience with AI risk governance and securing platforms, apps, and processes.

Responsibilities

Identify and manage technology risk with root-cause analysis and remediation recommendations.
Build trusted relationships with LOB technologists, assessment teams, and data officers to enable cross-functional collaboration.
Use enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate risk evidence synthesis and draft executive-ready reporting.
Govern controls, policies, issue management, and measurements; provide senior-management insights on control effectiveness.
Promote AI-assisted approaches to streamline control testing and issue/action-plan management with proper human review.
Continuously monitor control effectiveness, identify gaps, and suggest enhancements to improve risk posture.
