Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Talent Intelligence & Analytics Manager to own the AI talent market intelligence. You will map competitors, track compensation trends, and turn funnel data into strategic hiring decisions for recruiting and leadership.

You'll build real-time dashboards, benchmark compensation across roles, and partner with GTM, Applied AI, and Operations to inform Mercor's talent strategy in a fast-growing AI company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in people analytics, talent intelligence, or recruiting analytics, ideally at a high-growth tech or AI company.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills; comfort building dashboards in tools like Hex, Looker, or Tableau.
• A genuine interest in the AI talent market: who's hiring, where they're finding people, how comp is trending, and what that means for Mercor's competitiveness
• Ability to turn messy data into a clear narrative and a clear recommendation, not just a report
• Strong communication skills; able to present data-backed points of view to recruiters and leadership with confidence
• High motor, outcome-oriented approach; Mercor is in hypergrowth, and this role's insights directly shape hiring decisions across the company
• Familiarity with Ashby or ability to quickly adopt new tools and systems

Responsibilities

• Track the competitive AI talent landscape and sourcing practices of frontier labs, Mag 7 companies, and direct competitors.
• Analyze Mercor's hiring funnel metrics and translate findings into actionable recommendations for recruiters and leadership.
• Build dashboards and reporting to provide real-time visibility into pipeline health and hiring capacity.
• Serve as the analytics expert for Talent Acquisition, guiding decision-making across the funnel.
• Partner with GTM, Applied AI, and Operations to answer market and pipeline questions for leadership.
• Run research projects on talent-market trends, compensation evolution, and competitor hiring strategies.
• Develop and maintain compensation benchmarking across roles and markets to keep Mercor competitive.
