Job summary

Trayd in New York City is hiring an AI Support Specialist to be the first line of contact for customers. You will triage inquiries, review AI-drafted responses, and ensure fast, accurate resolutions. The role sits on the Product team, guiding AI support and influencing product changes with CTO backing.

No software engineer background required; you will ship small improvements using AI coding tools with engineering support as you grow into product ownership.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience or recent graduate in a related field.
• Strong written communication and calm under pressure.
• Interest in AI and hands-on with AI tools to improve support.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact for customer questions, replying quickly and clearly.
• Review AI-drafted replies for accuracy and tone before sending.
• Triage issues and route to the right team to unblock payroll.
• Maintain queue health and ensure resolution or escalation daily.
• Create help articles and training content from resolved questions.
• Partner with product/engineering to surface recurring issues and fixes.
• Ramp ownership of AI support agents and expand coverage.
• Use AI tools to ship small product improvements with engineering support.
