Amentum is seeking a motivated Business Development Intern to help build ROI models for AI-driven improvements in quality and cost. You will work with SMEs across the organization to analyze AI value propositions and prepare data-driven business cases.

You will contribute to market analysis, develop presentation materials, and support leadership with concise dashboards and reports. The role blends business and technology in a dynamic government services environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics)
• Strong interest in AI/ML and business applications
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; able to build financial analyses and ROI models
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present business cases clearly

Responsibilities

• Analyze AI/ML ROI with SMEs to quantify financial and strategic impacts.
• Identify AI value opportunities for customers and large bids.
• Collaborate with internal SMEs to validate assumptions and align ROI models with goals.
• Research AI trends in defense/government services and analyze competitors.
• Create clear reports, dashboards, and visuals for leadership.
