Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Associate Manager, Strategy & Operations in the AI Research Lab to translate frontier AI advances into shipped products and scalable infrastructure. You will work across research, product, and operations to move from discovery to deployment, partnering with merchants, sales, and engineering to drive AI adoption and measurable business impact.

You will define bets, own go-to-market strategies, and build metrics that localize success across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in finance, management consulting, business operations, analytics, or high-growth startups.
• Exceptional communicator and operator who partners with merchants, sales, support to translate pain points into AI opportunities.
• Strong analytical thinker who brings structure to ambiguity in frontier AI research.
• Hands-on experience with AI tooling to accelerate discovery and prototype workflows.
• Direct experience productizing LLM/ML systems is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Reimagine core experiences through AI by unifying initiatives into an AI-native interaction model.
• Own revenue-driving AI initiatives and link technical progress to financial outcomes.
• Lead business planning cycles and go-to-market strategies for AI products.
• Develop measurement frameworks and localize metrics across geographies.
• Drive AI adoption by enabling non-technical teams with enterprise tools and sandboxes.
• Build scalable AI foundations: datasets, guardrails, monitoring, and models.
• Operationalize frontier tech from external partners into production capabilities.
• Lead rapid experimentation to validate product-market fit and impact.
