MasTec's Clean Energy & Infrastructure (CE&I) seeks a Director to build and lead the AI Strategy and Innovation department, serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, defining AI vision, and driving enterprise-wide adoption of AI capabilities with measurable ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Master's degree in Business, Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive technology, innovation, or business systems leadership experience.
• Five+ years leading enterprise technology or innovation teams.
• Demonstrated success delivering AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise AI strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve business performance, project execution, safety, quality, estimating, scheduling, procurement, equipment utilization, risk management, and back-office operations.
• Establish a prioritized AI innovation portfolio and roadmap.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, vendors, platforms, and market trends.
• Serve as the primary advisor to executive leadership on AI opportunities, risks, investments, and organizational readiness.
• Translate business challenges into practical AI initiatives with measurable outcomes.
