Job summary

MasTec seeks a Director of AI Strategy & Innovation to lead the AI Strategy and Innovation department within the Clean Energy & Infrastructure segment. You will partner with executive leadership to define the AI vision, identify strategic opportunities, and drive enterprise-wide adoption of AI-enabled solutions that deliver measurable ROI across multiple business units.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team, collaborate with field operations, project controls, and corporate functions,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Master's degree in Business, Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
12+ years of progressive technology, innovation, digital transformation, or business systems leadership experience.
Five+ years leading enterprise technology or innovation teams.
Experience delivering AI, automation, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

Develop a multi-year enterprise AI strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
Identify AI opportunities to improve performance, project execution, safety, quality, and operations.
Establish a prioritized AI innovation portfolio and roadmap.
Evaluate emerging technologies, vendors, platforms, and market trends.
Serve as primary advisor to executive leadership on AI opportunities, risks, and investments.
Lead design, development, and deployment of AI-enabled applications and analytics.
