Job summary

Anthropic, a San Francisco-based AI safety company, seeks a VC Partnerships Lead to drive growth by forging and managing strategic startup partnerships. You will design programs enabling startups to access Anthropic's advanced AI models and scale impact through accelerator ecosystems.

This highly autonomous role partners with sales, marketing, and product teams to build and run the startup partnerships motion, with a focus on measurable outcomes and broad ownership across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in partnerships, founder/operator roles, growth, or technical GTM roles.
• Deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and AI/ML technology landscape.
• Experience building relationships with VCs, working at a VC firm, or partnering with accelerators.
• Experience building 0-to-1 programs, wearing multiple hats, and scaling based on data.
• Proven ability to develop and execute complex, cross-functional go-to-market programs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for founders, developers, and VCs.
• Comfort with fast-paced environments and ambiguity.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Anthropic's startup partnerships strategy, leveraging AI technology and industry partnerships.
• Build relationships with key VC firms and entrepreneurial communities.
• Create startup-focused programs, offerings, and growth initiatives.
• Cultivate accelerator partnerships; define touchpoints and drive outcomes for portfolio companies.
• Plan and execute startup-focused events, campaigns, and promotions to drive awareness and adoption.
• Collect product feedback and represent startup needs in Anthropic's product roadmap.
• Track and report key metrics to measure ROI of startup initiatives.
