Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a VC Partnerships Lead in San Francisco to drive transformative growth by forging and managing high-impact startup partnerships. You will design programs that enable startups to access Anthropic's AI models and scale our startup partnerships motion across accelerator ecosystems.

This individual-contributor role offers broad ownership, working with sales, marketing, and product teams to build and run partnerships initiatives with autonomy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in partnerships, founder/operator, growth, or technical GTM roles.
• Deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and AI/ML landscape.
• Built relationships with VCs or accelerators to drive portfolio engagement.
• Excel at 0-to-1 program building—from scratch, wearing multiple hats, and scaling based on data.
• Proven ability to develop and execute complex, cross-functional go-to-market programs.
• Exceptional communication skills—outstanding writer for founders, developers, and VCs.
• Thrive in fast-paced environments with bias to action and ambiguity.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Anthropic's startup partnerships strategy, leveraging our AI technology and industry partnerships.
• Build relationships with key VC firms, and entrepreneurial communities.
• Create compelling startup-focused offerings, programs, and growth initiatives.
• Cultivate strong relationships with accelerator partnerships; build relationship models, touchpoints, and drive outcomes.
• Plan and execute startup-focused events, campaigns, and promotions to drive awareness and adoption.
• Gather product feedback and represent startup community needs to Anthropic's product roadmap.
• Track and report key metrics to measure ROI of startup initiatives.
