Job summary

SAIC in El Segundo, CA seeks an Artificial Intelligence Intern to apply expertise in space system modeling, simulations, and analytics. You will help define, visualize, and communicate the value of new space technologies and scenarios.

Responsibilities include developing models across communications, remote sensing, orbit dynamics, and AI; evaluating spacecraft simulation tools; and supporting GUI development for interactive scenario presentations to support mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical) or Science (Physics, Computer Science, Astronomy, Data Analytics) graduating in 2027 or 2028.
• Must have an interim secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, or C++.
• Prior knowledge of satellites, space missions or national security helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support, either within the company or in support of customer contracts, on assignments using established procedures.
• Engineering interns may develop models spanning areas such as communications, remote sensing, orbit dynamics, satellite design, and人工 intelligence.
