Job summary

Cytora, now part of Applied Systems, seeks a technically oriented Solutions Architect to own customer integrations from discovery to go-live. You will collaborate across Product, Customer Success, and Sales to design scalable AI-enabled workflows for insurers and brokers.

You will advise on API patterns, architect solutions, and educate customers on how our AI powers workflows, while staying ahead of product releases and industry trends. This remote US role offers strong growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical, customer-facing role enabling rapid onboarding for new customers.
• Fluent with REST APIs, OpenAPI specs, and talking through endpoints and integration patterns.
• Comfortable reading and modifying Python scripts for prototyping against APIs.
• Interest in AI/LLM concepts and ability to explain them to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to architect integration patterns and guide customers toward scalable solutions.
• Strong communication skills for whiteboard sessions with developers and plain-English explanations for PMs.
• Proactive troubleshooting with ability to document root causes clearly.
• Hands-on SaaS integration experience for enterprise customers, including post-launch support.
• Proficiency with Git workflows and observability/troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with user-management platforms and security considerations in integrations.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer implementations from API integration to production go-live.
• Design the integration by conducting technical discovery and producing playbooks.
• Advise on API patterns, webhooks, retries, and schema design for best practices.
• Partner across Customer Success, Sales, Solutions, and Product as technical glue.
• Educate customers on AI usage and keep up with evolving AI capabilities.
• Close the product loop by filing bug reports and capturing feature requests.
• Troubleshoot by analyzing logs and hand off clean reproductions to Engineering.
• Stay ahead by reading release notes, testing features, and sharing learnings.
