Job summary

PointClickCare is seeking an AI/Automation Engineer to bring AI-powered automation into our corporate platform. You will build intelligent workflows with Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio and other AI providers to streamline operations and deliver measurable impact in a fast-moving healthcare SaaS environment.

You will collaborate with IT, operations, product and support to deploy scalable AI-driven solutions, monitor performance, and ensure responsible AI safeguards while staying aligned with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in relevant field.
• Experience building AI-powered workflows using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio and/or Now Assist.
• 3–5 years in software or cloud engineering.
• Exposure to AI agent orchestration or multi-agent systems.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure services (Azure AI, Functions, Logic Apps, Cognitive Services).
• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation or vector DB integration.
• Experience with multiple LLMs (OpenAI GPT, Azure OpenAI, Gemini); prompt engineering.
• Proficient in Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript; 3–5 years in SaaS/enterprise.
• Familiar with CI/CD, Git, cloud deployment; healthcare data formats (HL7, FHIR) a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and fast-learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and support AI agents and intelligent workflows using Azure tools (Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, Copilot Studio).
• Design and implement AI-powered orchestration for configuration, onboarding, and data migration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI-driven solutions.
• Develop APIs, scripts, and tools to connect LLM-based agents with enterprise systems using MCP.
• Support testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI workflows.
• Stay current with AI platform roadmaps and industry trends.
• Contribute to evolving internal AI delivery model and best practices.
