Proofpoint is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design, build, and evolve AI-driven tools that boost post-sales revenue teams’ effectiveness. You’ll partner with data, AI integration, and Enablement to turn ideas into high-impact capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years professional experience with at least 2+ years in AI technologies.
• Proven experience building AI applications with measurable results.
• Strong command of advanced prompt engineering and multi-agent systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve AI-driven applications and tools (chat assistants, workflows, autonomous agents).
• Partner with AI Integration and Data teams to expand AI capabilities across the CS tech stack.
• Develop agentic AI applications and define human-in-the-loop guardrails for scale.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to deliver high-impact AI solutions.
