Job summary

McKinstry is hiring a Technology Solutions Analyst for the Construction Division in the Pacific Northwest to lead AI initiatives for BIM/VDC and detailing. You will design and deploy AI tools to streamline workflows and evaluate pilot projects, working with external vendors to implement solutions.

You will collaborate across BIM Detailing, VDC, and other units, translate requirements into deliverables, and build repeatable AI rollout playbooks to reduce duplication of effort and drive measurable

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years in a technology-focused role (business/solutions analysis, product management, or tech implementation).
Working knowledge of generative AI/LLM platforms and prompt design.
Experience running pilots, gathering requirements, documenting recommendations, and managing vendors.
Strong communication with technical and operational audiences; proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary AI partner for BIM Detailing, VDC, and other units, designing and deploying AI tools that improve processes.
Evaluate and pilot AI and automation technologies, with documented build/buy/configure recommendations.
Translate pain points into requirements and manage external consultants or vendors when needed.
Coordinate across the team to prevent duplicate effort and build repeatable playbooks for AI rollouts.
