Job summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. in Katy, Texas is seeking a Construction Technology & AI Analyst to lead AI-enabled construction technology initiatives on solar projects.

You will work with cross-functional teams to implement VDC/BIM and digital workflows, driving improved workflows, field execution, and project controls. The role requires 5–7 years in construction tech, proficiency with AI tools, and a solid understanding of construction processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5–7 years construction tech experience with BIM/VDC.
• Experience applying AI solutions in construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of project workflows and construction processes.
• Ability to translate requirements into digital models and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of digital construction, geospatial, VDC/BIM, and AI-enabled tools across solar projects.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and apply AI solutions that improve workflows and decision-making.
• Analyze workflows to define problems, document requirements, and prioritize AI use cases based on value and feasibility.
• Manage digital workflows and department-level process improvements.
• Ensure multidiscipline models are current and aligned with standards and project needs.
• Support the setup and best practices of digital workflows across project phases.
• Coordinate detailing, model management, and tech requirements with teams and partners.
• Liaise between design, construction, estimating, and technology stakeholders to align solutions with goals.
• Support pursuits with AI and geospatial tool integration and proposals.
• Contribute to business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and roadmaps.
