Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software or data engineering experience with 1–3 years of hands-on AI/LLM work.
• Hands-on AI engineering: LLM applications, retrieval, agents, prompt and tool design, evaluation.
• Exposure to BIM technology in construction, AEC or MEP and building models are used on projects.
• Experience with Dynamo, the Revit API (C#/.NET), pyRevit or Python scripting for BIM workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain tech to non-engineers.
• Familiar with BIM data standards (IFC, COBie) and linking model data to estimating or fabrication systems.

Responsibilities

• Create AI solutions the business uses: agents, skills, retrieval, documentation and automation.
• Apply AI to BIM and VDC workflows: automate model checks, extract data, connect to estimating and field teams.
• Work with BIM/VDC, preconstruction and field teams to turn hard problems into practical AI solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate modern AI tooling; run trials and adopt tools that add value.
• Enable others by sharing best practices, reviewing work, and coaching division-embedded developers.
