Job summary

Dassault Systèmes in Waltham, MA is seeking an AI Software Engineer to deliver world-class AI-powered CAD applications across the SOLIDWORKS platform. You will design and implement AI features, build multi-step reasoning workflows, and integrate AI agents with client-server architectures.

The role requires a CS/engineering degree and 2–5 years of experience with C#, C++, Python and AI tech; familiarity with Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps, Jira; and an interest in graphics, rendering or CAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• 2–5 years of experience with C#, C++, Python and AI tech.
• Interest in 3D graphics, CAD, rendering or game engine tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-driven features to improve user productivity.
• Build multi-step workflows where AI agents parse instructions and execute CAD operations.
• Integrate AI agents with client-server architectures (WebSocket, REST).
• Prototype and develop scalable software components.
• Debug, profile, optimize performance, and write maintainable tests.
• Collaborate across international teams and participate in sprint planning.
• Stay current with AI/ML trends relevant to graphics and CAD.
