Job summary

Dassault Systèmes in Waltham, MA, is seeking an AI Software Engineer to join the SOLIDWORKS AI Powered Development team. You will design and implement AI-driven features, build multi-step AI workflows, and integrate AI agents with client-server architectures to enhance CAD operations.

The role emphasizes prototyping, scalable components, debugging, and performance optimization across the full software lifecycle, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related Engineering stream.
• 2–5 years of experience in C#, C++, Python, AI technologies.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and OOP.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-driven product features and AI agents to drive customer productivity.
• Build multi-step reasoning workflows where AI agents parse instructions, plan tasks, and execute CAD operations.
• Integrate AI agents with client-server architectures using WebSocket, REST or other protocols.
• Prototype and feature development; design scalable software components.
• Debug, profile, and optimize performance; write maintainable and testable code; perform testing and validation.
