Job summary

SBT is assisting a confidential client in Austin to recruit a senior leader for ASIC/SoC programs powering the next generation of data centers and AI infrastructure.

The role leads the engineering organization across architecture, RTL, verification, physical design, firmware, and validation, owning the complete silicon lifecycle from concept to production. You will drive multi-generation roadmaps with executives and key partners.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of complex ASIC/SoC programs from architecture through tapeout.
• Deep credibility in high-performance silicon for data center/AI infrastructure.
• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary engineering organizations.
• Strong product and systems judgment translating requirements into silicon roadmaps.
• Executive-level communication with senior leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering org for complex semiconductor products for data centers.
• Own silicon lifecycle from architecture to production and bring-up.
• Define roadmaps with execs and product teams for multi-generation tech.
• Build and scale multidisciplinary teams across ASIC, firmware, and validation.
• Interface with strategic customers and partners on silicon/system solutions.
• Drive multiple development programs in parallel while balancing performance.
