A confidential company in San Francisco is seeking an executive leader to guide the engineering organization responsible for developing complex semiconductor products for next-generation data centers.

You will own the silicon lifecycle from architecture through production, partner with executives to define roadmaps, and build a large multidisciplinary team across ASIC design, firmware, validation, and operations.

This role offers the opportunity to influence major silicon and system-level programs serving some of the most demanding infrastructure applications in the industry.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering organization responsible for developing complex semiconductor products for next-generation data centers
  • Own execution across the complete silicon lifecycle, from architecture and design through verification, physical implementation, tapeout, bring-up, validation, and production.
  • Partner with executive leadership and product teams to define multi-generation technology and product roadmaps aligned with evolving customer and market requirements.
  • Build, develop, and scale multidisciplinary engineering organizations spanning ASIC design, architecture, firmware/software, validation, and engineering operations.
  • Serve as a senior technical interface with strategic customers and partners, translating infrastructure challenges into differentiated silicon and system-level solutions.
  • Drive multiple complex development programs in parallel while balancing technical performance
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership of complex ASIC/SoC programs from architecture and design through tapeout, silicon bring-up, validation, and production.
  • Deep technical credibility in high-performance silicon for data center, networking, AI infrastructure, or adjacent compute-intensive applications.
  • Demonstrated success leading large, multidisciplinary engineering organizations across functions such as architecture, RTL, verification, physical design, firmware/software, and validation.
  • Strong product and systems judgment, with experience translating customer or infrastructure requirements into silicon architectures and differentiated product roadmaps.
  • Executive-level communication and customer engagement skills, with the ability to operate effectively with senior leadership, strategic partners, and major technology customers.
