Job summary

3E is seeking an AI Security & Trust Engineering Manager to build a company-wide trust capability across engineering and product teams. The role transcends traditional security, driving outcomes through teams without direct authority and shaping governance, identity controls, and automated security practices across AI-enabled workflows.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Engineering, AI, Platform, Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, HR, Legal, and Product to embed trust into how 3E

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, AI engineering, cloud engineering, or closely related technical role.
• Experience delivering system-level outcomes, not just isolated security tasks.
• Experience collaborating with Engineering, DevSecOps, Platform, Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, or AI teams.
• Experience integrating security/trust controls into engineering platforms, CI/CD, identity systems, or operational tooling.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management, identity/security tooling, and security operations.
• Ability to influence teams that do not report to you and create ownership models.

Responsibilities

• Drive security and trust work through cross-functional engineering and AI teams.
• Influence non-reporting teams by aligning priorities and improving clarity for trust work.
• Operationalize AI governance, security assurance, identity controls, vulnerability remediation, and customer trust practices.
• Turn manual security work into durable systems, with automation and metrics.
• Embed security/trust controls into engineering platforms, CI/CD, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Build AI-enabled workflows and systems that reduce manual work and improve security operations.
• Support continuous assurance for SOC 2 and ISO 42001 with emphasis on automation and evidence collection.
• Mature engineers from task execution to platform and systems thinking.
• Communicate risk in plain business language to stakeholders.
• Establish cadence, ownership, metrics, and indicators for trust outcomes.
