Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director AI Security to lead and mature the enterprise AI Security program. Reporting to the CIO, this role shapes strategy for securing AI technologies while enabling responsible innovation across the enterprise.

The leader will recruit and guide a high-performing team of AI security architects, engineers, and specialists, and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Legal, Privacy, Risk, and business units to ensure secure adoption of AI at scale.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, engineering, data science, or related field.
Master's degree preferred in related field.
10+ years in progressive cybersecurity leadership.
3+ years designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML.
2+ years cloud security configuration and management (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
2+ years in application security with emphasis on AI/ML.
5+ years leading security architecture or engineering teams.
Knowledge of NIST RMF, CSF, ISO standards, and AI risk frameworks.
CSSLP and CISSP preferred or required on hire.
CCSP preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute enterprise AI Security strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap.
Establish AI security standards, reference architectures, and secure development requirements.
Lead AI security risk management including model governance and regulatory compliance.
Build and lead the AI Security organization including hiring and budgeting.
Partner with technology, legal, privacy, procurement, and business leaders to enable secure AI adoption.
Oversee AI security architecture reviews and security assessments for initiatives.
Monitor AI threats and regulatory developments and adjust strategy.
