Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Director AI Security to lead and mature the enterprise AI Security program. Reporting to the CIO, this executive guides strategy for securing AI technologies while enabling responsible innovation across the enterprise.

You will recruit and lead AI security architects, engineers, and specialists to build a secure AI ecosystem. The role covers governance, risk management, secure adoption, regulatory compliance, and operational oversight of AI technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computerscience, Information Security, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• 10+ years in progressive cybersecurity leadership.
• 3+ years designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML systems.
• 2+ years cloud security configuration/management (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• 2+ years in AI/ML application security.
• 5+ years leading security architecture or engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO standards and RMF.
• CISSP required at hire; CSSLP preferred; CCSP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise AI Security strategy, roadmap, and governance.
• Lead AI security risk management, model governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization including hiring and budgeting.
• Partner with executives to securely enable enterprise AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security architecture reviews and security assessments.
• Monitor emerging AI threats and regulatory developments.
