Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Director AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program. Reporting to the CISO, this leader will shape strategy for securing AI technologies while enabling responsible innovation across the enterprise.

The role leads a team of AI security architects, engineers, and specialists, driving governance, risk management, and secure adoption across AI initiatives while partnering with executive leadership and business units.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years in progressive cybersecurity leadership.
• Requires 3+ years designing, implementing AI/ML security.
• Requires 2+ years with AWS, GCP and/or Azure cloud security configuration and management.
• CISSP/CSSLP or equivalent certifications preferred or upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise AI Security strategy, operating model, governance framework, and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish enterprise AI security standards, policies, and secure development requirements for AI technologies.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance, third-party AI assessments, AI inventory, threat modeling, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization including hiring, mentoring, budgeting, strategic planning, and operational execution.
• Partner with technology, architecture, engineering, legal, privacy, procurement, and business leaders to securely enable enterprise AI adoption.
