Accenture Security is hiring a Cybersecurity Forward Deployed Engineer in California to embed with a client’s security and engineering teams, delivering production-safe AI deployments. You will use agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot to build AI-powered detection systems, threat models, and governance frameworks while delivering measurable security posture improvements.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in production environments with a cybersecurity discipline.
Minimum 1 year designing and deploying agentic AI solutions in production.
Minimum 3 years of experience with cloud security fundamentals (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

Responsibilities

Support AI security architecture and threat modelling for production agentic deployments.
Deliver hands-on security engineering using agentic coding tools.
Support AI-specific threat surface management at programme scale.
Architect and govern AI security controls across the enterprise stack.
Assist with AI governance framework implementation (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF).
Shape AI reinvention security strategy for client CISO/CTO.
Define and publish reusable security patterns and playbooks.
Contribute to architecture design sessions and threat modelling workshops.
